Speech Language Pathologist in Berkeley, CA

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows also considered
- Prior experience working in a school setting is a plus
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, including both group and individual sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Support teachers and staff with classroom strategies to promote communication skills
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology and school-based practices
