This is a contract opportunity for a skilled, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year, with a full-time caseload focused in a middle school environment. Candidates with bilingual abilities are encouraged to apply, although this is not required.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a full-time caseload with diverse student needs
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills are valued but not mandatory
- Committed to fostering inclusive communication support for students in educational settings
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy for students demonstrating speech, language, voice, or fluency difficulties
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and document therapy in compliance with district and state regulations
- Offer support and training to teachers and parents regarding effective communication strategies
- Collaborate actively with educators and school staff to develop integrated support approaches
