Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP state license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Experience supervising Clinical Fellows (CFY) highly valued
- Teletherapy experience beneficial, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentorship skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and mentorship for Clinical Fellow SLPs in a school environment
- Observe, evaluate, and offer feedback on clinical practice, documentation, and ethics
- Facilitate professional growth and skill development through constructive guidance
- Collaborate effectively with the school’s special education team
- Maintain accurate records and supervision logs
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and professional standards of the school district
