Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Stephenville, TX
Step into an impactful supervisory role supporting school-based speech-language pathology professionals. This contract opportunity centers on providing expert SLP supervision for 2-4 hours each week throughout the school year, working with a dedicated team to elevate the quality of student services through direct mentorship and guidance.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic SLPs with a passion for education and a commitment to fostering professional growth and excellence. You will serve as a resource, mentor, and guide to SLPs at various experience levels, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure
- Experience supervising SLPs or supporting Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates is preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric and school-based populations
- Understanding of teletherapy models and technology
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise school-based SLP professionals for 2-4 hours weekly
- Guide and evaluate SLPs completing their Clinical Fellowship Year
- Support adherence to best practices, compliance, and IEP processes
- Provide constructive feedback, performance evaluation, and professional development
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure high standards of student care
- Remain accessible and responsive, facilitating both in-person and teletherapy oversight
This contract begins August 12, 2026, and concludes May 20, 2027. The position offers consistency, flexibility, and the ability to make an enduring impact on students and fellow professionals alike, all while maintaining a manageable, part-time commitment.
