Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLPs or associate’s/bachelor’s degree with SLPA certification for SLPAs
- Active, valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Previous experience in school settings or strong interest in working with K-8 students
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms a plus for remote service provision
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- For SLP - CFY applicants: eligibility to complete required Clinical Fellowship Year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Deliver therapy services individually or in small groups for both elementary and middle school students
- Help develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Track and document student progress toward therapeutic goals
- Consult with educators and families to support language and communication growth in the classroom
- Create engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support conferences as required
