Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mariposa, CA

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload of students with diverse needs
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability in changing situations
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Delivering therapy sessions—individual and group—as well as supporting classroom instruction
- Maintaining detailed progress reports and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Participating in meetings and ongoing professional development
- Supporting students’ social, academic, and emotional growth through targeted interventions
