This contract position begins August 11, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, offering a meaningful experience working directly within school settings—no virtual roles or VOCO placements.
As part of this role, you’ll provide essential speech and language services to a diverse student population across 1-4 schools (typically two), with a manageable caseload of 55-60 students. All age groups are represented, allowing you to make a lasting impact at various stages of student development. You will focus exclusively on therapeutic intervention, as each campus is equipped with dedicated case managers to handle administrative responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Active California SLP license and valid CTC documentation (preliminary/clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)—CFs considered if supervision is prearranged.
- Experience in school settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to K-12 students.
- Travel between 1-4 assigned schools (itinerant placement, average assignment is two schools).
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize assessment tools and materials (reimbursement for assessment supplies up to $2500 provided).
- Work school-day hours: 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
