Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
- Proficient in teletherapy or eager to gain experience with virtual platforms
- Strong commitment to supporting the communication needs of TK-8th grade students
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups, adapting techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary staff, and families to support academic and social success
- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and integrate technology as appropriate
