Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Experience or comfort working with pediatric populations in a school setting
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Ability to implement evidence-based practices for both in-person and teletherapy modalities
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered care within diverse school communities
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide interventions for students across TK-8th grades with a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions onsite, adapting approaches to unique student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Communicate regularly with families and educational staff to support student growth
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team planning as needed
