Step into a vital role serving students in the LA area as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. The position spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year, running from August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027. You’ll collaborate closely with education professionals to deliver quality speech and language services onsite—remote work is not available for this assignment.
Desired Background and Credentials:
- Active California SLP License and SLP Teaching Credential (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply—supervision arrangements will be coordinated
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Able to work multiple campuses; caseloads typically range from 50 to 60 students
- Previous school-based experience a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation aligned with district and state requirements.
- Participate in bi-weekly professional training cohorts, integrating best practices into your daily work.
- Travel between assigned school sites as necessary for itinerant roles.
- Utilize assessment materials (reimbursement for up to $2500 is budgeted).
