Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Location: Walterboro

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services to students in a supportive school-based environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are strongly encouraged to apply! We provide mentorship and support to help new graduates successfully complete their Clinical Fellowship Year.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals.
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
Support students in accessing the educational curriculum through effective communication skills.
Qualifications
Required:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Eligibility for South Carolina licensure and/or certification.
Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Previous school-based experience.
Experience working with diverse student populations.
Knowledge of special education procedures and IEP development.
