School Speech Language Pathologist - Whittier, California
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the LA area. Work full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, and positively influence the lives of children and adolescents across multiple school sites. This role is itinerant, typically serving 1-4 campuses with an average caseload of 55-60 students, offering the chance to broaden your experience and make a significant difference.

Assessment materials are fully reimbursable up to $2500, ensuring you have the tools necessary for comprehensive evaluations. Focus entirely on your SLP duties—dedicated case managers at each school will handle case management functions, allowing you to maximize your impact within your specialty.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active California SLP license.
- Valid SLP Teaching Credential in California.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply—supervisor arrangements can be provided.
- Ability to travel between assigned schools (1-4 per week).
- Prior school-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in group and individual settings.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress.
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple schools.
