Make an immediate impact supporting students’ communication and academic growth in a collaborative educational setting! A vibrant North Carolina district is seeking four skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential speech and language services across the eastern and southern regions of the district. This is a full-time contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
Applicants must hold an active North Carolina SLP license and be dedicated to making a difference in students' lives. Both seasoned clinicians (CCC) and recent grads in Clinical Fellowship (CF) will be considered—district supervision is available for CFs. Please note, this opportunity is not available for SLPA candidates at this time.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license required
- SLP-CCC preferred; SLP-CF accepted with district supervision support
- Background supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is preferred
- Experience in school settings and ability to collaborate with educational teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a maximum caseload of 35 students, with caseload preferences taken into account
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans to address students’ speech/language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster student progress and communication success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
