Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). In this role, you’ll play a key part in addressing speech and language needs across multiple age groups—there’s one position working exclusively with Pre-K students, and another serving K-8th grade. Each week brings a reliable schedule of 40 hours, providing plenty of opportunities to make a real impact, engage deeply with students, and refine your supervisory skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC credential from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to supervise and support an SLPA
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and allied professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student achievement
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Guide, mentor, and oversee the work of an SLPA
- Adjust therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of Pre-K or K-8 populations
