Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
- Supervisory experience or willingness to supervise SLPAs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide therapy tailored to each student
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Supervise and mentor an assigned SLPA, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with state regulations
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and contribute to student evaluations
- Offer guidance on communication strategies for classroom integration
- Support students from diverse backgrounds and adjust approaches as needed to maximize effectiveness
