Two contract-based opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Each position offers 40 hours per week and involves providing both direct therapy and support to students, as well as supervising a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
These roles present the chance to specialize in either a Pre-K classroom environment or with K-8 students, depending on your area of expertise and interest. You'll collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to foster students’ development and success, empowering them with the tools needed for effective communication.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP credentials required
- Arizona licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school-based settings with pediatric caseloads
- Prior supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA to support student intervention plans
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student progress reporting
- Partner with educators and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with best practices and compliance standards
