Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs for elementary students
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in evidence-based assessment and treatment of diverse disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite speech, language, and communication services to elementary students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation compliant with state and federal requirements
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement
  • Participate actively in professional development and school initiatives

This assignment spans the academic year from early August 2026 through late May 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. The district is seeking ten committed professionals for this transition, ensuring robust support for all students in need of speech-language services.
