School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Johannesburg, California
If you are an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with active CCC credentials and a passion for working in educational settings, this contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of elementary students. Located near Johannesburg, CA, this assignment provides a rewarding onsite experience from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, working hands-on with students and collaborating with a dynamic school community.
What we’re looking for:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license with ASHA CCC certification
- Prior experience providing services in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and development of individualized speech therapy plans
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Passion for making a positive difference in students’ communication and academic success
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering on-site speech and language therapy to elementary students as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Conducting evaluations, writing reports, and developing measurable IEP goals
- Monitoring and documenting student progress throughout the school year
- Consulting with classroom teachers and participating in IEP meetings to support academic achievement
- Educating and engaging with families regarding strategies and progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
This is an exclusively onsite role—students benefit from face-to-face support with ten available positions. You’ll work alongside fellow SLPs dedicated to replacing virtual models with personalized onsite care.
