Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid SLP-CCC credentials
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload with creativity and compassion
- Commitment to serving diverse learners and working within a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students following IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and write reports for eligibility and ongoing services
- Develop individualized plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
- Engage in professional development as required by the district
