Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Bapchule, AZ
This is a fantastic opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. Two contract roles are available, both offering the chance to step into meaningful work supporting students while also taking on a mentor role. The positions are conveniently located near Bapchule, AZ and offer full-time schedules at 40 hours per week.
The ideal candidates will bring strong clinical skills and a commitment to pediatric speech-language services in a school environment. Experience with both PreK and K-8 populations is valued—one role focuses on PreK students, while the other serves K-8. As part of your responsibilities, you’ll supervise an enthusiastic SLPA, offering guidance and expertise in both assessment and treatment delivery. These positions are perfect for clinicians who enjoy fostering the professional growth of others as much as working directly with students.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Arizona state licensure (or eligibility)
- Proven pediatric experience; school-based background strongly preferred
- Prior supervision experience or interest in mentoring an SLPA
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practice
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to PreK or K-8 children, based on placement
- Provide oversight, support, and mentorship to an assigned SLPA
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Collect data and monitor students’ progress
