School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Rochester, New York

Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Comfortable evaluating, diagnosing, and supporting students with autism or intellectual disabilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough progress documentation
- Collaborate with classroom staff and related service providers to reinforce student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student goals
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies for ongoing development
Position Details:
- Contract position, starting ASAP and continuing until permanent hires are made
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule; specific hours to be determined
- Role A: Elementary caseload serving ASD students
- Role B: High school caseload serving students with intellectual disabilities
- Competitive pay ranging from $83 to $112 per hour based on experience and assignment
