Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP license for the state of New York
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD) and/or those with intellectual disabilities
- Excellent organization and communication abilities
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday; hours to be determined
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services
- For Role A: Serve elementary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the TJ Connor Elementary site
- For Role B: Serve high school students with intellectual disabilities at the Jr/Sr High location
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Adapt interventions and approaches to meet each student’s unique strengths and needs
