Qualifications & Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and consultative skills
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school-based environment
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Document services and maintain compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Adapt service plans based on student population and ages, honoring your preferences where possible
