School Speech Language Pathologist - Kent, Washington

Scheduling is typically 37.5 hours weekly, with flexibility between 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM dependent on assignments and meetings. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings strongly valued
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage and document a caseload efficiently
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement targeted IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain confidential and accurate documentation for evaluations, services, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development, as required
- Adapt approaches to accommodate a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds
- Stay current on best practices within the field
