Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-6 students in a vibrant educational setting. This position offers an on-site role working with a moderate to severe caseload, collaborating within a dedicated team that includes two other full-time therapists. The assignment begins in March and extends through the end of the current school year in June, with options to continue through summer and renew for the following academic year.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants welcome
- Experience or interest in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings
- SLPA candidates with relevant background also encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus, but this role is on-site only
- Previous experience with moderate to severe caseloads is preferred
- Comfort working both independently and in a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to K-6th grade students at a single school site
- Manage a caseload of students with moderate to severe needs in collaboration with campus therapists
- Develop and implement IEPs, maintain documentation, and attend appropriate meetings
- Communicate effectively with teachers, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in evaluations, progress monitoring, and intervention planning
- Typical workday begins between 7:30 and 8:00 am, concluding between 2:45 and 3:45 pm; up to 40 hours per week
