Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Quitman, Texas
Step into an exciting contract role serving K-6th grade students at a welcoming elementary campus, starting this March and extending through the end of the school year, with opportunities to continue over the summer and renew for the next school year. This position offers a consistent, on-site schedule—Monday through Friday, with standard start and end times between 7:30-8:00am and 2:45-3:45pm—supporting a mod-severe caseload at a single campus location.
You’ll collaborate with two full-time therapists on campus and be an integral part of a supportive team. This full-time role allows you to serve up to 40 hours a week, working alongside professionals dedicated to making a meaningful impact in students’ lives.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility for school settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with school-age pediatric populations, including mod-severe needs
- Comfortable working fully onsite; teletherapy is not available for this position
- Skilled in IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators and families
- Familiarity with current SLP best practices for elementary school-age children
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with school or healthcare experience encouraged to apply

- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in K-6th grades within a dynamic school setting
- Assess, identify, and treat communication disorders
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student goals
- Complete and maintain documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute expertise within a cohesive therapy team
