Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Winnsboro, TX

Take your speech-language pathology career to the next level with a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic K-6 school environment near Winnsboro, TX. This full-time, on-site position begins in March and continues through the end of the school year in June—with options to extend into the summer and the following academic year. You’ll be part of a cohesive team, collaborating alongside two other full-time therapists while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with moderate to severe needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state SLP license (CFY supervision available)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desirable
- Experience working in schools, especially with moderate to severe caseloads
- Pediatric SLP or SLPA experience preferred
- Comfortable providing services on-site in a school setting
- Familiarity with teletherapy welcomed but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-6 students on a single campus
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow therapists to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to diverse learning needs within a moderate to severe caseload
Position Highlights:
- Full-time schedule, up to 40 hours per week
- Workday starts between 7:30–8:00am and ends by 2:45–3:45pm
