Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Winnsboro, TX

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting K-6th grade learners at a single school site. This full-time Speech-Language Pathology position is available starting in March and continues through the end of the school year in June, with the possibility to extend into summer and the next academic year. Collaborate with a dedicated team—including two other full-time therapists—to deliver impactful services to students with moderate to severe needs. Enjoy a structured schedule, with your day starting between 7:30-8:00 am and concluding between 2:45-3:45 pm, working up to 40 hours per week—all on-site to maximize student engagement.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials (Clinical Fellow applications welcome)
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA in the state
- Experience in school or healthcare settings preferred
- Comfortable providing services for pediatric populations, especially students with moderate to severe speech/language needs
- Teletherapy or in-person SLP/SLPA experience highly valued but not required—on-site availability is essential
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-6
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Partner with two experienced full-time therapists on campus for guidance and teamwork
