Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school-based pediatric settings, including early childhood and elementary school populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage varied caseloads and flexibly adapt to student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students across K–12
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Document and report on student progress, maintaining records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
- Provide guidance and support for integrating speech-language strategies in the classroom
