In this role, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a diverse K–12 caseload
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in alignment with each student’s unique needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student progress
- Monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies, and provide documentation according to state and district guidelines
- Participate in RTI, IEP meetings, and contribute to a positive, productive learning environment
- Assist with early childhood screenings and intervention when needed
- Maintain clear and timely communication with families and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong understanding of best practices for moderate to profound speech and language needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to adapt services for students with a range of abilities
