Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in pediatric, early childhood, and elementary settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment protocols, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Superior communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement therapy plans for K–12 students according to IEP requirements
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and track progress
- Adjust interventions based on individual student needs and caseload demands
