School Speech Pathology | Port Orchard, Washington
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year serving students with speech and language needs in a thriving educational environment. Multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for in-person roles, supporting elementary and secondary students in a collaborative and dynamic setting from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. These positions offer meaningful caseloads—around 42 students at the elementary level and 45 at the secondary level—providing you with the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact while working alongside other passionate professionals.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP license and ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- SLP-CCC credential or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Skilled in conducting assessments, designing interventions, and tracking progress
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to students in small-group and individual settings
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain thorough, organized records
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Support inclusive practices by consulting and coordinating with classroom staff
- Communicate with caregivers on student goals, strategies, and progress
