Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active Speech Language Pathologist license, meeting all state requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) processes and documentation
- Passion for working with elementary-aged students, supporting a variety of communication needs
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop targeted treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
