A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to provide support and guidance to elementary-aged students. This full-time position runs through November 2027, offering a chance to make a meaningful and lasting contribution over several school years. With a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, you'll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Certificate of Competence required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of elementary student needs and IEP documentation
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
- Foster a positive and growth-oriented learning environment
