School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Denton, Maryland

Your expertise will be valued as you contribute across multiple school locations, including a self-contained high school classroom serving students with moderate to severe needs, as well as fulfilling spot fill requirements throughout the district. The district is known for its supportive environment and resources, equipping you to provide the best therapeutic services possible.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in Maryland school settings preferred
- Comfort working with K-12 diverse caseloads, including moderate to severe needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable mindset for itinerant travel between school sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy onsite for assigned students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's success
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
- Travel between designated schools as part of your weekly schedule
