Speech Language Pathologist in Hurlock, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Recent experience in Maryland schools preferred
- Ability to work effectively across a variety of educational settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for a diverse caseload, including both spot fill needs and more intensive requirements
- Serve students in both self-contained high school classrooms (moderate to severe needs) and itinerant positions across multiple school sites
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide staff training as needed
