What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in Maryland schools preferred
- Comfort working with moderate to severe needs in self-contained settings
- Strong organization and adaptability for itinerant travel between campuses
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
What you’ll do:
- Work onsite across various schools, addressing spot fill caseload needs
- Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students—including high schoolers with moderate to severe needs in a self-contained classroom
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Serve as an itinerant clinician between school locations
- Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain ongoing progress documentation
- Offer recommendations and resources to classroom teachers and families
