Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Plainfield, Illinois

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP license or credential
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings, particularly with school-aged children
- Knowledge of cross-categorical special education needs and ability to tailor therapeutic approaches
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to students in PK and elementary grades
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with the special education team
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expert insight into student progress and needs
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and reports per school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding goals, strategies, and student achievements
