Requirements and Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience or interest in working within a high school setting
- Familiarity with providing push-in therapeutic services in academic environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address student speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy utilizing push-in models to support students within classroom settings
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate strategies into the general education curriculum
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings to discuss recommendations and goals
- Offer guidance and resources to caregivers and educational teams for consistent support
- Stay updated with best practices and continuing education in school-based speech-language pathology
