Key Qualifications:
- Active state certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working within school settings (elementary, middle, and high school experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in K-12 populations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and create effective treatment plans for diverse student needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Develop and implement IEP goals and documentation in coordination with IEP teams
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student access to the curriculum
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide timely updates to all stakeholders
- Participate in eligibility determinations, staff meetings, and parent conferences as required
