Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school environments
- Skillful in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet individual student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to develop targeted intervention plans
- Create and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with team members and families
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff for implementing classroom-based communication strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student success
