Key Qualifications/Experience:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license/certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with K-12 populations
- Previous involvement with early intervention or mild-moderate caseloads preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and screenings for students referred for speech/language services
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions tailored to mild to moderate needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records per regulations
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to promote student success in the classroom
- Offering consultation and training to parents and school personnel as needed
