Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification appropriate for practice in school settings
- Previous experience serving elementary, middle, or high school students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A collaborative approach to working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Passion for supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language interventions to students across multiple grade levels
- Maintain regular and detailed documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing expert input regarding student progress and program planning
- Engage in ongoing communication with teachers and families to foster student success
- Provide resources and support to staff regarding best practices in speech and language development
