These contract roles are perfect for professionals looking to provide direct, on-site support to students ranging from early childhood through high school, including specialized ASD, EBD, and InD classrooms.
Multiple full-year and maternity leave positions are open, with assignments tailored to individual preferences and strengths. You’ll work within supportive teams or, in some cases, as the sole SLP onsite, fostering meaningful growth and communication skills among students.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A valid, active SLP license in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP setting
- Confidence working with diverse caseloads, including ASD, EBD, and InD units
- Strong collaboration skills for team-based and independent roles
- Ability to commit to onsite positions only
- Availability for an interview on July 1, 2026 (priority scheduling date)
- Compliance with credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessment, intervention, and consultative SLP services to assigned caseloads (PK-12)
- Participating actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary school teams
- Providing support and guidance to SLPAs where applicable
- Maintaining timely documentation and progress notes in line with district standards
- Adapting to different school environments and grade levels as needed through the school year
