Speech Pathology - Stuart, FL
A fulfilling opportunity awaits skilled Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about supporting students’ communication and academic success. Multiple contract positions are available across several schools in southeast coastal Florida. Openings range from preschool through high school, serving a variety of caseloads, including ASD, EBD, and InD units. Assignments are on-site only, starting August 5, 2026, and running through June 1, 2027, with full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time options available depending on the school.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current and active SLP licensure (CCC preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in K-12 educational settings
- Comfort adapting therapy approaches for diverse caseloads (PK–12)
- Familiarity with ASD, EBD, InD, and VE populations is highly valuable
- Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborating with school staff, families, and support personnel
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing and provide fingerprints (potential for streamlined process if previously completed through DOH)
Your Daily Impact:
- Deliver therapy and diagnostic services for assigned students in collaboration with special education teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Consult and coordinate with other SLPs, SLPAs, and school staff to ensure continuity of care
- Engage with families to support students’ progress
- Adapt therapy materials and methods for small groups or individualized instruction
