Take your expertise on the road along the beautiful Southeast Florida coast in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC), eager to make an impact across a diverse range of student populations. Roles are onsite-only, beginning August 5, 2026 and extending through June 1, 2027—covering various maternity leaves within the academic year. Assignments are full-year, with the possibility of split-year contracts for travel professionals.

You’ll collaborate with supportive SLP teams or operate as the sole SLP depending on your assignment, working with K-8, high school, and specialized ASD, EBD, and InD units. Full-time schedules are 35 hours per week, across 1-2 school sites per assignment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • School-based SLP experience and familiarity with ASD, EBD, or InD populations strongly preferred
  • Ability to work on-site and manage multiple assignments as needed
  • Must complete fingerprinting. Candidates may transfer existing DOH prints whenever possible.

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students, including group and individual services
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SLP peers, and school support staff
  • Maintain clear records and progress notes while managing a dynamic caseload
  • Engage in IEP meetings, parent consultations, and team collaboration
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams as needed based on student support requirements
