School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Fort Pierce, Florida

This full-year, on-site contract Speech-Language Pathology opportunity provides the chance to collaborate with passionate educational teams, contribute to positive student outcomes, and gain a diverse range of school-based experiences.
In this role, you will serve students from preschool through high school at one to two campuses (varied by assignment), including opportunities to cover maternity leaves alongside established SLP teams or independently. Caseloads encompass K-8 or 9-12 settings, including specialized ASD, EBD, and InD units, with support from SLPAs at certain sites. Assignments rotate over the school year, ensuring professional growth and a rewarding challenge with each placement.
Key Requirements:
- Current, active SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience within diverse school settings (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to dynamic caseloads, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Timely completion of all onboarding steps; must meet fingerprinting and credentialing requirements
Duties Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for varied age groups
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy to students with diverse needs
- Document progress, communicate with teachers and families, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with school staff to support student success
