Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Compassionate approach to working with children and diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Design and deliver therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student growth
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
  • Educate staff and families about speech and language development, as well as strategies for support
  • Ensure all services comply with federal, state, and district policies
