Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as required for SLP practice in schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach when supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and required reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Stay updated with best practices, new techniques, and relevant regulations in the field
