Multiple openings are available for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting a range of student needs across K-12 environments. Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure required
- Experience in a school setting preferred (K-12, including ASD, EBD, InD, and PK Resource Therapy)
- CCC-SLP highly desired
- Ability to work full-time 35 hours/week on-site
- Flexibility for maternity leave coverage, potentially full-year or as a split-term contractor
- Current fingerprints on file with DOH, or willingness to complete new fingerprinting
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, intervention, and support services for assigned caseloads
- Develop and implement IEPs, supporting students’ speech, language, and communication goals
- Serve 1-2 school sites, depending on assignment (Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce locations included)
- Collaborate with SLPAs, school staff, and families
- Document and maintain thorough records in accordance with district policies
- Contribute to maternity leave coverage for onsite SLPs as scheduled
- Participate in team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development
Assignments are full-time (35 hours/week) with both whole-year and semester-specific maternity leave coverage options. You'll be matched based on availability and expertise.
