We are seeking experienced SLP-CCC professionals for contract assignments onsite in dynamic educational environments. Several opportunities are available within K-12 settings, including full-time and part-time roles. Each assignment is tailored to support a focused caseload and includes collaboration with other skilled professionals.
Multiple school sites offer specialized experiences:
- Northport PK-8: Focuses on middle school, alongside other SLPs, with exposure to ASD units.
- Forest Grove Middle: Part-time work with InD and EBD-focused caseload.
- Tradition Lakes K-8: New school, ideal for seasoned SLPs eager to shape services at a growing campus (part-time or full-time).
- Ft. Pierce Central High: High school setting with InD units and collaborative SLPA support.
- St. Lucie West K-8 & Manatee K-8: Diverse caseloads and on-site teamwork with other SLPs/SLPAs.
- Savanna Ridge: Elementary-focused, dedicated SLP services.
- Palm Pointe K-8: K-8 role with a focus on ASD; partial-year coverage for maternity leave available.
Requirements:
- Active SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Willingness to complete fingerprint clearance; potential to expedite if registered with DOH
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and deliver individualized therapy
- Develop IEPs and collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school district and state guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings
