Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly desired
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student success and progress
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress in accordance with school guidelines
- Provide education and support to teachers and caregivers to help reinforce communication goals beyond therapy sessions
- Contribute to team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing assessments
