In this role, you’ll serve a full-time elementary caseload at a welcoming school site from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, Monday through Friday, from September to late June. Enjoy stability and the satisfaction of supporting young learners as part of a dedicated school community.
Desired Qualifications:
- School-based SLP experience required
- Valid New Jersey SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Must be comfortable adapting to district norms and requirements
- Ability to efficiently manage an elementary caseload in need
- Competence in performing testing, assessments, and evaluations
- Reliable transportation and proximity for timely commute
- Must disclose ability to adapt to new school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech therapy and communication services to elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation per school and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Complete all required onboarding, including TB, physical, and fingerprinting
